Dental Implant

The treatment consists of two stages. The first stage is implant treatment. A few weeks is enough for this stage. The second stage is done after 3 – 6 months. In this process, the implant is expected to fuse to your bone. Afterwards, porcelain teeth are placed on the implant within a week.

After examining the panoramic x-ray film, implants can be applied to patients with suitable bone structure, good general health, and who have completed the age of growth and development.

Implant teeth require regular care and doctor control, just like our natural teeth. After the implant, the teeth should be brushed regularly and the dentist should be checked at appropriate intervals. Otherwise, implants may be damaged as well as natural teeth.

There may not be enough bone in the implant area due to different reasons. After the evaluation by our maxillofacial surgeon, bone formation is performed in the relevant area. Thus, the bone volume can be increased to the desired dimensions. Bone formation processes can be listed as augmentation, bone graft application, bone powder application and box technique.

The biggest concern with implant treatment is whether it is a painful procedure. Most of the patients who underwent implant treatment stated that this concern was unnecessary. The procedure is performed only with local anesthesia and is less painful than tooth extraction. Complaints that may occur after the operation can be solved with a simple painkiller.

Braces Treatment (Orthodontics)

Problems such as tooth loss, mouth breathing, teeth not touching each other while closing, and clenching may indicate the need for orthodontics. In cases where the lower jaw or upper jaw appears more forward or behind than normal, if the teeth are visibly crowded, and when the teeth are irregular, it is absolutely necessary to be examined.

The duration of orthodontic treatments may vary according to the patient, but in some cases it may take a short time. In general, habit-breaking appliances should stay in the mouth for 10 months – 1 year. Depending on the type of treatment, braces treatment can last between 1.5 and 3 years. Treatments with clear aligners usually take a shorter time.
